The need for an emergency safe refuge has been identified from <our community forum> (>>> link this to the YWRF more info page) as an urgent requirement for the safety of those most vulnerable in our community. The Yeppoon Women’s Refuge Foundation are committed to building a safe refuge for women and children escaping domestic and family violence – but without financial support, we can not proceed.
Our grant writing teams have pens poised – and it will take a community to deliver this by 2027.
